COVID Vaccination Assistance
The City of Bloomfield has received citizen suggestions to provide help to senior citizens who do not have a computer and need to register for the COVID vaccination. While the NM Department of Health has a hot line number to call, citizen feedback has indicated it is difficult to get through on the hot line. In addition, many senior citizens find the registration process confusing.
To address this need, Jessica Polatty, Director of the Bloomfield Senior Center, has offered to help senior citizens who would like to register for the COVID vaccination. Anyone who would like help registering with the NM Department of Health may call Jessica and her staff at (505)632-8351 for assistance, Monday through Friday from 8am until 4pm. A Bloomfield Senior Center staff member will assist the caller in the registration process.
New Mexico Small Business Continuity Grant
The City of Bloomfield recently received Small Business Continuity funding from the State of NM. Applications are currently being accepted on a first come, first served basis and are contingent upon eligibility and availability of funds.
